Features from Windows 11

The day is almost upon us! Windows 11 from Microsoft will be available on October 5th! This free upgrade will start rolling out to eligible Windows 10 computers and will come preloaded on all new devices going forward.

• The integration of the chat application Microsoft Teams into the taskbar. This provides a faster way to connect with colleagues, friends and family.
• The introduction of Widgets. This is a personalized feed powered by AI, and it provides users a faster way to access information.
• This iteration of the OS is the most inclusive and redesigned version of Windows ever. It includes new accessibility improvements that were built for and by people with disabilities.
• A new Microsoft Store. This has been rebuilt with an all new design that makes it easier to search and discover games, shows, apps, movies and more in one easy to navigate location.
• New opportunities for developers and independent software vendors to bring their apps directly to the store and to reach more customers.
• Optimized for speed, efficiency, and improved experiences with features such as touch, digital pen, and voice input.
• An incredible operating system for hybrid work. Windows 11 delivers experiences and features that are secure, well designed, and easy to use in-house or on-the-go.
